WIth this being our first entry to the Ohio Dorset Sale, not to mention our first Dorset lamb we have ever had, we feel like this chick will be worth the look in mid March.  Special thank you to the lovely Sarah Nichols and her lead turd slinger, Nick Nack, for offering us the chance at the momma of this ewe two springs ago at the famous parking lot shuffle in Greenville.  Sired by Albino Giraffe from the famed Donut Ranch and dammed by one of the straight Valley View ewes, this gal is bred to work like an old guy shearing sides and bellies in Jerseryville! As one of the judges stated in their reasons at Louisville, this ewe didn't have the future that the ewes above here in class.  He was right for saying what he did, with what sheep were presented to him in the spring lamb class.  No Future was 2nd in the spring class in the Jr show and 3rd in the Open show with her mother's milk still on her lips! No Future will be one that you can saddle up and ride right back to Phillips Lane in November with your head hung high! All smoke aside, this one cut out better than expected this weekend, even if I didn't leave enough flank wool for Dylan to blend.  She's coming on like gangbusters along with her pen mates on Moore Road with Big Ron on the feed bucket! Sorry for the Steve George write up, but you can enter sheep cheaper than buying the same space for an ad!
