I am so excited to consign to this sale for the first time! Iron Water Ranch has been breeding BFL since 2012 and has employed the use of LAI to improve structure and breed type of the animals we produce. We show and sell sheep and fleeces all up and down the west coast with occasional trips out east. They spend the fall and winter months grazing grass seed fields so they know how to put in the work. The BFLs bring me immense joy, and I am incredibly proud to be able to produce them at the caliber that we do. Our BFL fleeces and sheep have won numerous awards at shows such as Supreme Champion ewe at Estes Park, Champion Ewe at Black sheep Gathering 7 times total (4 years in a row, currently), Champion Ram at Black Sheep Gathering 4 times total, Supreme Best Fleeced Ewe at Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival, and Supreme Champion Young Flock at Oregon Flock and Fiber against 14 other breeds. Thank you for checking out our consignment, and please feel free to reach out with any questions! Sazerac has been a looker since birth! His dam is an incredibly prolific ewe that has twinned or had triplets every breeding. His sire is perhaps the best, and my most favorite, BFL I have ever produced. “Raphael” stamped each of his lambs with incredible breed type, dense & stylish fleeces, and lovely temperaments. Sazerac is an F2 Towdypotts and goes back to Myfarian Trueblue and Carry House. Sazerac is on my short list to stay here, but I wanted to offer up a true stud. This ram brings frame and style and plenty of fleece power! If you are wanting to strengthen your toplines and elevate that hip, seriously consider Sazerac!
