I would make sure the cow is looong fronted when using friction, He doesn't add much neck length if any. But he will add top,quarter,Bone and correctness. We've showed some friction steers and done quite well with them. They were low maintenance and Fed great!!!
A bull i flushed a 1/2 blood simmy 600u x Angus to was Almost Famous. Her first 2nd calf out out of Famous. she was Supreme at Wichita Falls and Supreme at Tulsa State Fair (07) she was quite successful in the show ring. Going to flush her again in May to Heat Wave 2nd time to Almost Famous again.
