Effective Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, Roger Hunker of Bellevue, Ohio, has assumed 100 percent interest in Ringside Publications, LLC, along with the recently purchased Breeders’ World, the complete online livestock directory.
Breeders’ World is the number one visited site for the livestock industry, with over 4.9 millions visitors in the past year. The site offers listings of breeders, association contacts, a calendar of events, plus a forum for four livestock species: cattle, sheep, goat and swine. Recent changes to the site include the offering of increased advertising opportunities for breeders and allied industry partners. The forum also offers a new look and faster service.
Ringside Publications develops unique specie specific livestock publications. The goal is not to sell a single ad, but to build value in a producer’s program, as well as increase their sales and visibility throughout the entire year.
Ringside encourages customers to advertise their services year round – and not limit their promotions to one sale or event.
Ringside’s primary responsibility continues to be publishing specialty show livestock directories with a desire to offer “BEST VALUE” advertising.
Another facet of Ringside is our online company, The Stock Arena, the first to offer online sales for all four major species of livestock. The Stock Arena will continue to add value for all customers, while assisting them in marketing livestock.

Jeff Hoppes lives in Clyde, Ohio with his wife Laura and their kids Callie Jo, and Kevin. Jeff has been a life long shepherd. He grew up on a farm that raised Suffolk Sheep that later turned into a successful club lamb flock. |
His twenty-five years in sales and marketing, along with his life experiences on the farm, make him an asset to Ringside Publications and Breeders' World. Amanda Crawford

Amanda Crawford, originally from Sheridan, IN, spent two years at Joilet Jr. College where she was a member of the livestock judging team, before transferring to Purdue University. Also a member of the livestock judging team at Purdue, Amanda graduated in December of 2007 with a Bachelor Degree of Agricultural Economics. |
Ms. Crawford began showing pigs when she was three years old and has continued her livestock career showing pigs, cattle, and sheep at a national, state, and county level. She raises Yorkshire and crossbred show pigs and both Chianina and commercial show calves.

Roger Hunker

Roger M. Hunker grew up in northern Ohio on his family’s 1000-acre diversified livestock-dairy cattle, sheep, beef, swine and crop farm located near Bellevue. Roger attended The Ohio State University. Following OSU he and college friend Kevin Wendt, founded Prime TIME Agri-Marketing Network. |
After graduating with degree in Animal Science /Ag-Education Roger taught High School Ag for three years and worked in the animal agriculture industry for 15 years. Roger attended the Reppert’s School of Auctioneering in 1988.
Roger auctions and manages a number of livestock sales each year. He, along with his wife Laurie and three children, own LaRog Club lambs and have produced and shown some outstanding show wethers across the mid-west.
